Minding Her Business is a series of networking events to connect the new generation of women entrepreneurs. Initiated by 3R Media, this series was designed with the purpose to foster an empowering community of women entrepreneurs to share, inspire and educate each other on nurturing their respective businesses.

The monthly MHB sessions will be themed and intentionally curated with speakers from the respective industry. Each interactive networking session will be guided by women who have walked the walk and talked the talk in running their own business empires.


In the fourth series of Minding Her Business, we will explore the theme of Community.

Yap Sue Yii - Co-Founder & CEO of Komuniti Tukang Jahit

Komuniti Tukang Jahit bridges the gap between society and the corporate world by providing the right jobs to the underprivileged B40 community, we are able to empower women of the household while producing 100% handmade Malaysian-themed corporate gifts.

Aida Zunaidi - Impact & Strategy Officer of Ibupreneur

Aida Zunaidi oversees operations with the mothers of Ibupreneur Malaysia and leads the key management team, whilst building strategic business development for economic opportunities in Ibupreneur. In her other life, she also specializes in technology for businesses' digital transformation.

Her passion involves world languages and cultures. You'll find her exploring traditional recipes in the tribes of Malaysia for our mothers to modernise!



Natalie Tan - Head of Transformational Enterprises of Dignity for Children

Natalie Tan Sook Ling serves as Head of Transformational Enterprises at Dignity for Children,an organization providing holistic education for marginalized and urban poor children and youth in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She currently oversees the running and growth of the various social enterprises at Dignity, including eat X dignity (café), sew X dignity (sewing studio), bake X dignity (bakery), cut X dignity (hair salon), and several other initiatives still in the business incubation stage.



Moderator: Alleena Abdullah - Yellow Tree Malaysia

Alleena founded 2 businesses focusing on training and consultancy. Yellow Tree Malaysia was set up to train and consult micro-businesses entrepreneurs, under-served communities and SMEs in business branding, personal branding and business development. With her partners, she is the co-founder of Pathway a corporate business consultancy specialising in digitalisation, people development and internationalisation.


She is also an industry advisor and working committee member at the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA) of UKM to develop a master’s programme in sustainable food development and leads the marketing and brand strategy for The Ulam School. Alleena is also an adjunct faculty at the Asia School of Business where she is passionate about designing workshops for executive education.
