Dust off those childhood treasures and get ready to paint some playful magic! 🎨 We're diving into a still life adventure with toys and trinkets, transforming your favorite little knick-knacks into works of art. Think quirky robots, vintage dolls, and maybe even that rubber ducky you secretly love! 🦆🤖 Let's unleash our inner child and create colorful, whimsical masterpieces that'll bring a smile to your face – and maybe even spark a little nostalgia. No judgment, just pure creative fun! ✨

This is a guided session. All experience levels are welcomed. There will be a short briefing and demonstration in the beginning of the session and then you are free to explore on your own and I’ll be ready to jump in if you require any assistance.

This will be a 2hr session, with all materials provided.

Silas Oo is a Fine Art graduate from The One Academy of Communication and Design, and a full time fine artist. He is multidisciplinary, working with various mediums, exploring drawings, paintings and sculpture making.

In this still life painting workshop, we will explore the beauty of texture and the interplay of light and shadow on various textiles. We will use a variety of objects, including fabrics, baskets to create a dynamic and visually interesting composition.

During the workshop, you will learn how to:

• Create realistic textures in paint, such as the smooth surface of glass, the rough texture of burlap, and the soft folds of fabric.

• Use light and shadow to create depth and dimension in your painting.

• Compose a still life that is both visually appealing and balanced.
