Textile Art'sylum


The Textile & Fashion Design Department of the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) is thrilled to present its TEXTILE ART’SYLUM Exhibition 2025, which is a visual showcase of 12 graduating students.


This year’s show brings together various Malaysian inspired themes including nature, culture & heritage. Showcasing textile pieces from Batik, Manual Silk Screen Printing, Digital Textile Printing and Tie-Dye, each work highlighting unique perspectives and craftsmanship in surface design.


Each textile work is a reflection of each student’s learning, experimentation and dedication. We are all excited and proud to share the individual creative visions of MIA’s budding designers. See you at the exhibition!

Opening Reception : 3pm, 12th April

Opening Hours : 10am - 5pm Wednesday - Sunday
