Marissa Parry Nutrition, Wellness & Fitness Coach
Marissa has been in the health and wellness industry since 2008. She became an expert in health and wellness because she understands how good nourishing your body with quality food and feeling fit and strong feels. Marissa is a certified American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer and Medical Exercise Specialist, Holistic Nutritionist from the School of Natural Health Sciences, and a Nutrition & Wellness Consultant with the American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA).
Besides being highly qualified, Marissa and her husband are owners of Malaysia’s most renowned Capoeira school, Casa do Capoeira. She is also the co-founder of Nourish Me, a healthy food delivery business. You can also find her on the fitness app, Fio. Last but not least, she is passionate about taking care of the Earth. She believes you can’t take care of your health without caring for the environment, as they are interconnected. Dr Kim Wah Tee Speedoc, Medical Doctor in Adult Primary Care
Dr Kim is a certified medical practitioner with key experience in Internal Medicine from University Malaya Medical Centre and Klang Hospital. She believes in empowering patients by making informed decisions about their health conditions. A passionate doctor with the goal to deliver an all-inclusive holistic approach — to heal the mind, soul, and body.
Alexandra Prabaharan Certified Nutritionist
Alexandra is a certified nutritionist with the American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA). Prior to obtaining her certification, she worked as a Food Editor for Friedchillies Media where she wrote food articles, hosted online shows, and developed recipes for the Friedchillies website.
Her love of food and nutrition is showcased in the meals she has created for her latest venture, Food Matters, where healthy lunches are delivered to offices in KL and Singapore. Alexandra has also shot a healthy cooking series with Food For Life TV in Singapore and develops recipes and writes articles for magazines such as Shape, Her World and Flavours. Additionally, she conducts nutrition workshops and cooking demos, and has worked with clients such as Cold Storage, Citibank, Horlicks, Marsh, and Coca-Cola. Dr Priya Rajan Certified Expressive/Creative Art & Play Therapy Practitioner
Dr Priya is a Medical Doctor with a string of qualifications: licensed Counsellor (Board of Counsellor’s Malaysia), TTT Certification, trainer in mental health and wellness (HRDCorp banner), and has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, working with patients dealing with depression, anxiety, and stress.
She is a strong advocate for mental health wellness and has conducted various training, seminars, and psycho-education programmes in rehabilitation counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy using expressive art and awareness on non-communicable diseases. She continues to bring her expertise through theoretical and practical involvement beyond the healthcare sphere and into the general community to help overcome issues and to make appropriate changes to those in need.
